Taking any business that comes along is a recipe for struggle. I call it settling for bad money. Bad money keeps you from prospecting toward good money - or good clients. It wears you down, lowers morale, and takes the enjoyment out of your business.
You went into business to work with clients who value what you do for them; clients who pay on time, communicate effectively, work with you instead of against you. There are ideal clients, good clients, and then those awful clients.
